CHECK YOUR TEMPERATURE

I think I have shared with most of you the dream I had a few years ago about the black tidal wave of filth that rolled across this country. Many people who were overcome by it were actually professing Christians. The only ones who were not overcome by the tidal wave were Christians who were completely sold out to Jesus, who feared God and lived for Him, those who had a close relationship with Jesus. Last night I had the same dream. Jay and I have watched many professing Christians over the last few years fall away from the faith, three of them were people we had brought to Christ. The days are growing darker in this world and falling away is becoming common place.
The following verse given to John by Jesus is something that we all need to read and take to heart, especially in these times of great darkness in the world. We need to check our temperatures often, and never do we want to be found lukewarm or cold. Just like a person who slowly freezes to death because they get sleepy, Christians daily face the danger of giving just a little ground to satan, until they are lukewarm and in danger of judgment. If you were once on fire for Jesus, but now you are becoming enamored by the things of the world, whether it is cursing, watching television shows that you know Jesus wouldn't watch, doing things that you know aren't things He would want you doing, you should stop and check your temperature. Don't drift so far away you don't want to return. The Bible says it will be more tolerable in the day of judgment for the one who never knew Jesus than for the one who knew Him and turned away. If you find yourself getting lukewarm, run to Jesus, run to Him now, repent and never give satan an inch of ground after that. The time we are living in is referred to in the Bible as the great falling away. I do not know the number of Christians who will fall away from the faith during this time, but I know I don't want to be one of them and I am sure you don't either. Stay close to His side child of God, do anything and everything you have to not to grow lukewarm. God bless all of you. Love Mary
Revelation 3:14-22
14 And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write:These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God: 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So because thou art lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spew thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and have gotten riches, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art the wretched one and miserable and poor and blind and naked: 18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold refined by fire, that thou mayest become rich; and white garments, that thou mayest clothe thyself, and that the shame of thy nakedness be not made manifest; and eyesalve to anoint thine eyes, that thou mayest see. 19 As many as I love, I reprove and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21 He that overcometh, I will give to him to sit down with me in my throne, as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father in his throne. 22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches.
