It is written!
2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NLT) 16All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right. 17It is God's way of preparing us in every way, fully equipped for every good thing God wants us to do.
William Jennings Bryan once said "Since Christ said "it is written" and the devil said "it is written" why can't the Preacher say "it is written?" How many of you realize that as I write this there is a bill before the House of Representatives. HR 1592 that will effectively make it illegal to preach against any sinner or sinners lifestyle. It is called the local law enforcement Hate Crimes Preventions Act of 2007. What ever happened to Christians standing up for what they believe? What every happened to our "Christian" Nation? You want to know! One word Lukewarm! We no longer have a generation of Christians on fire for Christ. We have pew warmers that have mildewed to their pews (Billy Sunday's words 100years ago) and will not stand up for Jesus for fear of percussion. Bill Lind Stated it well. "America today is in the throws of the greatest and direst transformation in its history. We are becoming an ideological state, a country with an official state ideology enforced by the power of the state. In "hate crimes" we now have people serving jail sentences for political thoughts. And the Congress is now moving to expand that category ever further. Affirmative action is part of it. The terror against anyone who dissents from Political Correctness on campus is part of it. It's exactly what we have seen happen in Russia, in Germany, in Italy, in China, and now it's coming here. And we don't recognize it because we call it Political Correctness and laugh it off. My message today is that it's not funny, it's here, it's growing and it will eventually destroy, as it seeks to destroy, everything that we have ever defined as our freedom and our culture."
Today I want to let the word of God Speak. For It is written: 1 Peter 2:9 (NLT) 9But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are a kingdom of priests, God's holy nation, his very own possession. This is so you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. My dictionary defines holy as spiritually pure. The Greek here means a most holy thing, scared, or morally blameless. Look around I do not think holy is a word that can be used to describe our country today. I do not even think it can be used to describe most churches today. It is interesting that in the King James Bible it occurs 548 times. Yet in the latest The Message it only occurs 240 times. Can anyone say softening the Gospel. For it is Written. Leviticus 11:44 (KJV) 44For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy:
For it is written: Leviticus 20:13 (NLT) 13"The penalty for homosexual acts is death to both parties. They have committed a detestable act and are guilty of a capital offense. For it is written: Leviticus 20:15-16 (NLT) 15"If a man has sexual intercourse with an animal, he must be put to death, and the animal must be killed. 16If a woman approaches a male animal to have intercourse with it, she and the animal must both be put to death. Both must die, for they are guilty of a capital offense. For it is written: Leviticus 20:27 (NLT) 27"Men and women among you who act as mediums or psychics must be put to death by stoning. They are guilty of a capital offense." Ok, you say that is old testament so lets jump forward. For it is written: Romans 1:18-20 (NLT) 18But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who push the truth away from themselves.19For the truth about God is known to them instinctively. God has put this knowledge in their hearts. 20From the time the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky and all that God made. They can clearly see his invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse whatsoever for not knowing God. For it is written: Romans 1:21-27 (NLT) 21Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn't worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. The result was that their minds became dark and confused. 22Claiming to be wise, they became utter fools instead. 23And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people, or birds and animals and snakes. 24So God let them go ahead and do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other's bodies. 25Instead of believing what they knew was the truth about God, they deliberately chose to believe lies. So they worshiped the things God made but not the Creator himself, who is to be praised forever. Amen. 26That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. 27And the men, instead of having normal sexual relationships with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men and, as a result, suffered within themselves the penalty they so richly deserved.
Ok, now you will use the buzz word excuse, but Jesus did not say that. It is written: John 8:11 (KJV) And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. The word here for sin in the Greek has a far deeper meaning than just to commit a moral transgression. It means to miss the mark, to lose the reward, to not share or partake in the prize. Do you get what Jesus is telling the woman. Jesus is telling her that if she continues to live a sinful life we will loose the prize, the reward. It is Written: John 5:13-14 (NLT) 13The man didn't know, for Jesus had disappeared into the crowd. But afterward Jesus found him in the Temple and told him, "Now you are well; so stop sinning, or something even worse may happen to you." Here again Jesus is saying that even though the fellow has been healed he will loose the prize if he keeps sinning.
Where do we get off thinking we know better than our Lord and Savior. We want to love them into the church. We turn our heads when they pass laws saying to be moral is hateful. We are condemning them to miss the greatest prize there is, by soft pedaling the Gospel and not standing up for our rights. This country was founded on freedom of religion and freedom of speech. But that is rapidly going away. Why, Because Christians will no longer stand up for what they know is right.
Ok, Ok no I am not homophobic! But, just look at the words of God. Can you not see the progression of the transgression. With each case it starts with 21Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn't worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. The result was that their minds became dark and confused. 22Claiming to be wise, they became utter fools instead….25Instead of believing what they knew was the truth about God, they deliberately chose to believe lies. So they worshiped the things God made but not the Creator himself, who is to be praised forever. Amen. See pride is the start of the fall, then the idea that either they do not need God or God meant something else than what He said. Then they start to worship other things, whether of nature, science or themselves. It is written: Habakkuk 2:18-20 (NLT) 18"What have you gained by worshiping all your man-made idols? How foolish to trust in something made by your own hands! What fools you are to believe such lies! 19How terrible it will be for you who beg lifeless wooden idols to save you. You ask speechless stone images to tell you what to do. Can an idol speak for God? They may be overlaid with gold and silver, but they are lifeless inside. 20But the LORD is in his holy Temple. Let all the earth be silent before him." Finally the word is very true, they become more and more immoral and against the Word of God until they even go against nature. For it is written: Romans 1:29-30 (NLT) 29Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, fighting, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They are forever inventing new ways of sinning and are disobedient to their parents. They refuse to understand, break their promises, and are heartless and unforgiving. They are fully aware of God's death penalty for those who do these things, yet they go right ahead and do them anyway. And, worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too. Did you get that? And, worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too. Have you bothered to visit your local school lately? Our children are being now taught things, that 20 years ago were considered a perversion and abnormal and are now just fine. We see nothing wrong with 8th graders having sex on their desks while the teacher is out of the room and sending pictures to their friends on their cellphones. A son, father and mother openly admitted they kidnapped a child and sexually abused him. They smile as they go into the details. They also admitted they killed the child when they were finished. Yet, they get a free lawyer to defend them and claim they did not do what they admitted to. A sixteen year old boy died as I write! Why? because he was playing the new game where they hang themselves to get a quick high and their friends are supposed to cut them down in time. Guess what? His friends were to late and he woke up in Hell if he did not know Jesus. Meth, crystal, ice etc. are now not enough our children are huffing common household chemicals and cleaners etc. Their current favorite is the common computer canned air duster. One time they get a high and a rush the next time it kills them. "They are forever inventing new ways of sinning…"
The darkness is encompassing the world. Is it too late? I do not know! All I know is that all this must happen before the end can come. But remember Jesus' words It is written: Matthew 10:32-33 (NLT) 32"If anyone acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will openly acknowledge that person before my Father in heaven. 33But if anyone denies me here on earth, I will deny that person before my Father in heaven. That word there for public in the Greek means to confess in public before men. It does not mean sitting on your mildewed pew singing hymns. It means going into the world and professing Jesus and His teachings. It is written: Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV) 19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
The following is a journal entry from my Pastors journal. Last night after a ten day fast the Lord finally gave Mary the vision I had. My vision was shown twice. First, I was driving and phased out. I saw a light, a power coming down from heaven and striking me to the ground. When I finally got up I was glowing with the same light, it was the power of the Holy Spirit, each time I tried to tell Mary it was like something closed my mouth. Then that night I was given the vision a second time but, with more reality, more power than before. In the vision I thought I was being fried by the light as punishment etc. But, then I got up filled with the power of the Holy Ghost to preach and do miracles! It was like being supercharged by God. I believe I got this vision on 2/13/03 then the Lord gave me Isa. 42 Old things pass away…" I had to fast and pray for ten days before God released the vision to Mary. Mary's vision was so disturbing and intense that she had to get up and pray. She saw beams of light or lightening strike people and knocking them down. But they did not die, the first time it was like a beam from heaven the second time it was like bolt of lightening. She thought it was the end of time and God's Destruction. That vision was given to me while I was driving down the road at 65 miles an hour. I phased out for a few moments and then was back. I had driven a mile or two down a hilly windy road and not left the road. It was so real that for few moments I was not sure what was real and what was not. I immediately called Mary but God would not release me to tell her. It took a ten day fast before God would tell her. But, just recently the Lord revealed that the light came down on these individuals who were in darkness. This vision is yet to come but, soon as the darkness over comes the earth. Will you be one of those whom the Father in Heaven will trust with the power to go forth. Or will you be one of those who are so much a part of the darkness you blend in completely? Wake up Christians of World, Wake Up! I have watched so many personal friends and workers for Christ just absorbed into the darkness and never even notice.
IT IS WRITTEN : Revelation 22:10-12 (KJV) 10And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. 11He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 12And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
